In the dust-choked frontier town of Oblivion, Lori Drake just wants to fly her dragon, escape the decay, and leave the past behind. But when a supernatural sandstorm slams into town, carrying a cursed message from the salt mines of Hakitaw, she’s pulled into a nightmare too big to ignore.

Lori is a reluctant monster hunter, a sharp-eyed gunfighter with a crippled father to protect, a dragon named Jangles at her side, and a rising evil beneath the earth. Deep below Hakitaw, the Ma’at-jer—three cursed shadow beings from ancient Aegypt—are clawing free of their prison. They feed storms. They raise the dead. And they are not done.

With help from a kobold wizard, powerful sorcerers, and her fiercely loyal dragon, Lori must track, trick, and fight her way across a collapsing frontier to the haunted mines. If she fails, the Ma’at-jer will rise, the town will fall, and the Weird West will burn.

Jangles & Drake: The Mummies of Hakitaw is a standalone Weird West fantasy packed with dragon-riding adventure, ancient curses, monster-hunting horror, and twisted magic. Perfect for fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Kolchak, and Supernatural.
